Sri Lanka Customs has recorded the highest monthly revenue in its history, Director General of Customs Sunil Nonis said.

He revealed that Customs revenue for last month reached Rs. 235 billion, marking an all-time record for the institution.

Nonis made the announcement at the launch of the new Customs Registration and Notification System (CRNS), developed to streamline services for importers and exporters.

“Last month, our monthly customs revenue was Rs. 235 billion. That is the highest revenue ever received in a month in the history of Sri Lanka Customs.
