Funeral of former State Minister Ratwatte on August 17

The funeral of former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte is scheduled to be held on Sunday (17) at the Nittawela family cemetery in Kandy.

Family members said the body was placed at his residence in Mahiya last night (15) for the public to pay their respects. The final rites will take place at 5.00 p.m. on Sunday.

Ratwatte, who had been critically ill, passed away this morning at a private hospital in Colombo at the age of 57.
