Sri Lanka Welcomes Over 77,000 Tourists in First 10 Days of August

Sri Lanka has recorded 77,482 tourist arrivals during the first 10 days of this month, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
India topped the list as the largest source market, contributing 13,511 visitors. The United Kingdom, Italy, China, and France followed as the next highest contributors.
With these figures, total tourist arrivals for 2025 have reached 1,445,770, reflecting a continued upward trend in the country’s tourism sector.
