Lorry catches fire after crash on Southern Expressway

A lorry travelling from Kottawa on the Southern Expressway met with an accident early today after crashing into a security fence near the Kurundugahahethekma area.

Following the collision, the vehicle reportedly caught fire, causing significant damage.

Three individuals sustained injuries in the incident and were promptly admitted to the Elpitiya Base Hospital for treatment.
