The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has announced that fines will be imposed on public officers who failed to submit their asset and liability declarations by the original deadline of June 30.

Although the deadline has been extended until July 31, the commission emphasized that penalties will still apply for declarations submitted after June 30, as per the law. CIABOC urged non-compliant officers to immediately submit their declarations to their respective heads of institutions to avoid further administrative consequences.

The commission also warned that legal action will be taken against officers who fail to comply altogether.
