Factory Workers Bus Plunges into Ravine in Dehiowita

The bus transporting around 40 factory employees home after their night shift lost control while negotiating a curve just west of Dehiowita town. 

The vehicle skidded off the roadway and descended roughly 50 meters into a ravine. Local authorities and eyewitnesses confirmed that several passengers sustained serious injuries, though the full extent is still being assessed.

Police investigators are examining all possible causes including driver fatigue, mechanical failure, and road conditions. A preliminary report is expected later this week.
