The gunman linked to the failed shooting near the Dehiwala railway station was shot dead by Police Special Task Force (STF) personnel during a confrontation in Pahalagama, Kahatuduwa early this morning (25).
According to police, the suspect opened fire from an abandoned house, prompting STF officers to return fire, fatally wounding him. Investigations are ongoing.
