Central Bank Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe clarified that neither the government nor the Central Bank has taken any decision to restrict vehicle imports
He made this remark during a press conference held recently, addressing growing speculation regarding possible import limitations.
Dr. Weerasinghe emphasized that any such move would be based on a broader policy decision and, as of now, no such determination has been made by the relevant authorities.
