Debate on Proposed Education Reforms Scheduled for July (24)

The Communications Department of Parliament has announced that the debate on the proposed new education reforms will take place on the 24th of July.
Meanwhile, it has also been decided not to take up the Sri Lanka Electricity (Amendment) Bill on the same day as previously scheduled. According to the parliamentary announcement, the debate on the Electricity (Amendment) Bill has been postponed and will be taken up on a later date, yet to be confirmed.
These changes come amidst growing public and political interest surrounding both the education reforms and the electricity sector amendments.
