Sri Lanka to Sign MoU with Singapore for Strategic AI Collaboration

The Cabinet has approved a proposal to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Digital Economy and the National University of Singapore, under which the “AI Singapore” program operates.
The MoU aims to establish active partnerships and knowledge exchange in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), supporting Sri Lanka’s strategic objectives in AI development.
The initiative will facilitate joint research projects, AI-related programs, and collaborative efforts to create innovative AI technologies that address both local and global challenges.
The proposal was presented by the President in his capacity as the Minister of Digital Economy.
