IGP Deshabandhu Tennakoon Found Guilty by Committee of Inquiry

A Committee of Inquiry appointed to probe allegations of gross abuse of power against Inspector General of Police (IGP) Deshabandhu Tennakoon has found him guilty of all charges.
Speaker of Parliament Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne confirmed that he has received the committee’s report, which recommends the removal of Tennakoon from his post as IGP.
