Researchers Honored for Outstanding Scientific Contributions

An award ceremony recognizing researchers for their exceptional contributions to the advancement of science was held in Colombo, organized by the National Science Foundation under the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The event was held under the patronage of Minister Professor Krishantha Abeysenna. Several researchers who carried out impactful projects funded by the Foundation were presented with awards.
Distinguished attendees included Senior Presidential Advisor on Science and Technology Professor Gomika Udugamasuriya, NSF Chairman Professor Saman Seneweera, and Director General Dr. Sepalika Sudasinghe.
