Two unidentified gunmen opened fire to a House in Weligama.The incident occurred while police officers were on sentry duty at the premises. Officers returned fire, prompting the assailants to flee. No injuries were reported in the exchange.
Investigations are currently underway to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the attack.
