In a nail-biting finish at Lord’s, England edged out India by 22 runs in the third Test to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series. Chasing 193, India were bowled out for 170 despite a defiant 61* from Ravindra Jadeja.

The tense final moments saw last man Mohammed Siraj survive after tea, only to be bowled by off-spinner Shoaib Bashir, who returned from a finger injury to seal the win. Ben Stokes impressed with 3 for 48 in 24 overs, while Jofra Archer, in his first Test in over four years, claimed 3 for 55.

The victory came exactly six years after Stokes and Archer starred in England’s 2019 World Cup triumph at the same venue.
