GovPay crosses 50 Institutions

At a media conference held today, the Information Communication Technology Agency (ICTA), in partnership with LankaPay and under the guidance of the Ministry of Digital Economy, announced significant progress in the adoption of GovPay, Sri Lanka’s official Government Digital Payment Platform.

Since its official launch by President Ranil Wickremesinghe on February 7, 2025, GovPay has been integrated into over 50 government institutions, offering around 700 active public services for digital payment. The platform has processed 7,024 transactions, collecting Rs. 65.62 million in government revenue.

The event also marked the pilot launch of the online traffic fine payment system and the official unveiling of the revamped GovPay.lk website.
