The second T20 International between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh is set to take place today (July 13) at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium, with the match scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.

Having already claimed victories in both the Test (1-0) and ODI (2-1) series, the Sri Lankan team is riding high on momentum. The hosts started the three-match T20I series with a convincing win in the opening game held on Thursday in Pallekele.

Batting first, Bangladesh managed to post 154 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. In reply, Sri Lanka chased down the target with ease in 19 overs, losing only 3 wickets. Wicket-keeper-batter Kusal Mendis was the standout performer, scoring a brilliant 73 runs and earning the Player of the Match award. Spinner Maheesh Theekshana also impressed, claiming two crucial wickets.

A victory tonight will see Sri Lanka seal the T20I series 2-0, ahead of the third and final match scheduled for July 16 in Colombo.
