Pakistan Army Chief to Visit Sri Lanka and Indonesia This Month

Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir is expected to undertake official visits to Sri Lanka and Indonesia later this month, according to foreign media reports.
As per the reports, Field Marshal Munir is likely to arrive in Colombo on July 21, where he is expected to hold high-level discussions with Sri Lankan military and government officials. The visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral defense ties and enhancing military cooperation between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Following his Sri Lanka visit, the Pakistan Army Chief is scheduled to travel to Indonesia, where he is expected to engage in similar diplomatic and defense-related meetings.
The planned visits come in the backdrop of Pakistan's continued efforts to deepen strategic relations in South and Southeast Asia.
