Over 13,000 Students Secure Straight A’s at 2024 G.C.E. O/L Examination

The Commissioner General of Examinations, Mrs. A.K.S. Indika Kumari, announced that 13,392 students have achieved 'A' passes in all subjects at the 2024 G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination. This accounts for 4.15% of the total candidates who sat for the exam.
She further revealed that 2.34% of the candidates failed all subjects.
A total of 425,152 students appeared for the examination this year, out of which 237,026 have qualified for Advanced Level studies.
These results reflect both the high academic performance of top achievers and areas that require further attention within the education system.
