All 31 workers rescued after part of industrial tunnel collapsed in Los Angeles

The incident was reported about 8pm in the 1700 block of N. Figueroa Street. Over 100 fire department personnel, including Urban Search and Rescue responded to the site of collapse.

All 31 workers have been rescued after a part of an industrial tunnel in US’ Los Angeles collapsed on Wednesday night in the Wilmington area, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) in a statement added that the collapse happened up to six miles away from the tunnel’s only access point, reported New York Times.
