Temporary Road Closure Near Kaikawala Bridge on Hunnasgiriy Meemure Route

According to Kandy District Secretary Indika Udawatta, vehicular movement across the bridge has been suspended following complications that arose during a restoration project carried out by the Road Development Authority.

Authorities have urged the public to refrain from traveling to Mimure for leisure or other purposes until further notice, prioritizing safety amid ongoing repair efforts.
