Shooting reported in Ragama

A person has been shot and killed in front of a residence at Batuwatte in Ragama a short while ago, police confirmed.
The victim, identified as "Army Upul", is reportedly an accomplice of underworld figure "Ganemulle Sanjeewa". He was gunned down by two unidentified individuals who arrived in a three-wheeler.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
