The announcement was made by the Secretary General of Parliament, who confirmed that the session was convened in accordance with Standing Order 16, following a formal request made by the Prime Minister and a summons issued by the Speaker.
As part of the day’s proceedings, a debate on an adjournment motion brought forward by the government is scheduled to take place and continue until 4:30 p.m.
In addition, Parliament is set to reconvene for regular sittings on the 8th, 9th, and 11th of July, as confirmed by the Office of the Secretary General.
