Sri Lanka Cricket has announced its 16-member squad for the upcoming One Day International (ODI) series against Bangladesh, with middle-order batter Charith Asalanka appointed as captain. The three-match series is set to begin on July 2, with the first two games scheduled at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo, followed by the final ODI in Pallekele on July 8.

The squad includes a blend of experienced campaigners and emerging talent, as Sri Lanka looks to fine-tune its white-ball setup ahead of a busy international calendar. Key players such as Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, and Wanindu Hasaranga have all been named in the squad, alongside promising youngsters like Nishan Madushka, Janith Liyanage, and Eshan Malinga.
