The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has announced a temporary suspension of the registration process for three job categories under the Israeli construction sector.

Originally scheduled to commence tomorrow (June 27) via the Bureau’s official website, the registration for General Renovation Work, Ceramic Tiling Work, and Plastering Work has been postponed due to what the Bureau described as an "unavoidable reason."

However, the SLBFE confirmed that registration for qualified workers in the renovation sub-sector of Israel's construction industry will now begin on June 27 and continue until July 1.

A new date for the postponed registration categories will be announced in due course.

The Bureau has urged prospective applicants to stay updated through its official communication channels for further announcements.
