CID Launches Probe into Ex President Ranil Wickremesinghe's Foreign Trips

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) informed the Colombo Magistrate’s Court that it has launched an investigation into former President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s private foreign trips.
The CID stated that the probe is being carried out under the Public Property Act and that relevant charges may be filed. A detailed report is to be submitted to the court, which has granted the necessary permissions to proceed.
