Irael's Latest Security Situation and Advice to Sri Lankans

International media reports, citing an official statement by the U.S. President, indicate that Israel and Iran have agreed to a complete ceasefire.
As of now, the Israeli government has not issued an official statement confirming this development,says Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel Mr.Nimal Bandara
If the ceasefire takes effect, Tel Aviv International Airport, which is currently closed, will be reopened for flights.
Meanwhile, the re-entry visas of individuals currently departing from Israel and intending to return—previously expired—have been extended until July 31, 2025. This decision will bring significant relief to approximately 219 individuals expected to return to Israel after visiting Sri Lanka.
