The 48-hour strike by railway controllers, originally set to begin at midnight today (June 19), has been postponed by two weeks.

According to the Railway Controllers' Association, the decision was made following a three-hour discussion with the General Manager of Railways, mediated by the Ministry of Transport.

The association stated that some of their concerns were addressed during the talks, and a two-week period was granted to resolve the remaining issues.
