How to Obtaining Re-Entry Visas for Sri Lankans to Enter Israel

Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the State of Israel Mr. Nimal Bandara says he submitted a formal written request to the Population and Immigration Authority (PIBA) to extend the Re-Entry visa period by two months from the onset of the Iran-Israel conflict.
It is highly likely that this extension will apply not only to Sri Lankan citizens but also to nationals of other countries. The process may take some time.
For Sri Lankans currently outside Israel whose Re-Entry visas are expiring, arrangements are being considered for their arrival via Cairo Airport, Egypt, followed by transfer to Eilat by chartered bus.
If a group of individuals is interested, the Embassy can assist in obtaining short-term Egyptian visas and organizing group transport. Such individuals should submit their names, passport numbers, and contact numbers to the Embassy as a group.
Those traveling individually (not in a group) must arrange their own Egyptian visas and transportation from Cairo to Eilat.
Please note that all costs related to visa processing, flight re-bookings, and ground transportation must be borne by the individuals concerned. The Embassy will provide facilitation and coordination support only.
