Iran's largest natural gas field catches fire

The conflict is Netanyahu’s war, the official said, and its outcome would be the destruction of the Israeli regime.
The official said that Iran was defending its people and that US President Donald Trump needed to decide whether to waste American taxpayers’ money on Netanyahu’s ambitions.
As we have been reporting, a fire is raging at the oil facility in Iran’s capital, Tehran.
Sharan is significant as a major oil storage and distribution hub near Iran’s capital, Tehran, home to more than 9 million people.
Its proximity makes it strategically important for supplying refined products to the country’s most populous region and vital industries.
The facility reportedly holds several million barrels of oil, making it one of Iran’s key fuel storage sites, though not the largest – other major facilities like Kharg Island and the Bandar Abbas complex typically store more crude.
Sharan’s closeness to both Tehran and key transportation networks enhances its importance, making it critical for ensuring fuel supply security in the capital and surrounding urban areas, especially during disruptions or crises.
