The former President is scheduled to provide a statement to the CID in relation to this complaint made by Rambukwella concerning the importation of pharmaceuticals into the country.
Former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella had previously lodged a complaint with the CID regarding this matter, and several former government ministers have already provided statements in relation to the same.
Sources from the CID have stated that the former President Ranil Wickremesinghe is to be questioned in connection with the principle of collective responsibility of the Cabinet.
