10-hour water cut in several areas of Gampaha today (11)

This is due to work related to the connection and upgrading of the main system with the solar power system installed at the Biyagama Water Treatment Plant.

Accordingly, the water supply will be interrupted in the municipal council areas of Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, Katunayake, and Seeduwa, as well as in the Pradeshiya Sabha areas of Kelaniya, Wattala, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Ja-Ela, Katana, Minuwangoda, and Gampaha.

The board expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to consumers due to the suspension of the water supply.

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board requests the public to use water very sparingly.
