Awareness programs for 238 selected for Sri Lankan migrated workers

This included 170 hotel support services workers and 68 construction workers. The event was attended by the Senior Manager of the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Agency, Mr. Susil Kumarapelli, Manager (Hotel Section) Ms. Lakshika Weeraratne and Manager (Construction  Section) Ms. Anusha Jayawardena, as well as the Advisor of the Labor Welfare Section of the Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel, Ms. Nilmini Abeygunawardena and Second Secretary Mr. Sanjaya Niroshana.

The social and security situation in Israel, the problems faced by Sri Lankan workers and the issues that need attention were explained.
