Health Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa stressed the importance of disease prevention and public awareness to reduce hospital admissions during the “Public Health Vision 2025” health education exhibition and walk held in Colombo.

This event, organized by the Sri Lanka College of Community Physicians in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, began with a walk from Independence Square to Viharamahadevi Park. The program featured a range of health education activities aimed at promoting community wellness.
Dr. Jayatissa highlighted that the healthcare sector must prioritize preventive measures and public engagement to build a healthier nation.
