No cabinet reshuffle or PM change – Minister Nalinda Jayatissa

Addressing the weekly Cabinet media briefing, Minister Jayatissa dismissed the circulating reports as entirely unfounded.

“This is completely false,” the Minister said. “There has been no discussion or proposal to reshuffle the Cabinet or replace the Prime Minister.”

The remarks come amid a wave of political rumors suggesting possible changes at the highest levels of government. Minister Jayatissa emphasized that such reports are misleading and urged the public and media to rely on verified information.

“The government remains focused on delivering its policy agenda, and there are no internal moves to alter the current Cabinet or leadership structure,” he added.
