
Parliament to convene from today (03) to (05)

As per the agenda, Parliament will commence at 9.30 a.m. with 30 minutes allocated for business specified under Standing Orders 22 (1) to (6). This will be followed by an hour-long session from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. for questions requiring oral answers. Subsequently, questions under Standing Order 27(2) will be addressed from 11.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
The highlight of today’s proceedings will be the second reading debate on the Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Bill, scheduled to take place from 11.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. The bill is expected to be a focal point of discussion, reflecting the country’s ongoing efforts to strengthen data privacy regulations.
The day's proceedings will conclude with a 30-minute debate, from 5.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., on a motion to adjourn the House, which will be presented by the ruling party
