The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) announced today that there will be no revision of fuel prices for the month of June 2025. According to the statement, all fuel prices will remain unchanged, offering a measure of stability for consumers amid global market fluctuations.
The existing fuel prices, which will remain in effect throughout June, are as follows:
Auto Diesel – Rs. 274 per litre
Super Diesel – Rs. 325 per litre
Petrol 92 Octane – Rs. 293 per litre
Petrol 95 Octane – Rs. 341 per litre
Kerosene – Rs. 178 per litre
This decision comes as global oil prices continue to experience volatility due to ongoing geopolitical and economic factors. The CPC emphasized that maintaining current prices is aimed at cushioning the impact on the local economy and consumers.
Fuel price revisions in Sri Lanka typically occur on a monthly basis, taking into account international crude oil prices, exchange rates, and other related costs. The next review is expected at the end of June
