Shooting incident reported on Bandaragama road in Panadura

A shooting was reported this morning along the Bandaragama Road in Panadura South. According to local police, unidentified gunmen targeted a store in the area before fleeing the scene. The authorities are currently investigating the incident.
Police confirmed that, based on preliminary information, one person sustained minor injuries during the attack. The identity of the injured individual has not yet been disclosed. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported at this time.
The police are reviewing CCTV footage and collecting evidence from the crime scene in an effort to identify the suspects involved in the shooting. A search operation is underway, though no arrests have been made so far.
