Anudi among top 20 finalists in Miss World Multimedia Challenge

This landmark achievement marks a historic first for Sri Lanka, as Anudi becomes the only contestant from her country to reach the Top 20 in three fast-track events: Talent, Head-to-Head Challenge, and now Multimedia—a rare and inspiring feat in the world of international pageantry.

In the Asia and Oceania region, Anudi is joined in the Top 5 of the Multimedia Challenge by fellow standout contestants from New Zealand, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. These finalists were selected after weeks of comprehensive monitoring of their digital activities across platforms including Instagram, the official Miss World app, and their respective national Facebook pages.

The Multimedia Challenge celebrates the art of storytelling and digital influence, with participants judged on creativity, consistency, authenticity, and the positive impact of their content. From sharing personal journeys and social causes to documenting life-changing experiences in Telangana, the contestants have impressed judges and fans alike with their ability to connect and inspire.

Now, the Top 20 Multimedia finalists are tasked with a final mission: to step into the role of storytellers and create a compelling video that narrates their entire Miss World journey. These videos may include interviews with fellow contestants, insights from past titleholders, and special moments that defined their path in the competition.

As anticipation builds, the results of the Multimedia Challenge will be announced this Friday, May 30, just one day before the Miss World 2025 Grand Finale, scheduled to take place on May 31 at the Hyderabad International Exhibition Centre (HITEX).
