The bank has received regulatory approval from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and will commence operations soon.
This move marks the first presence by a Sri Lankan bank in the DIFC, a leading financial hub in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA). The new office will serve clients across the UAE, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and the Maldives.
Chairman Sharhan Muhseen emphasized that the DIFC office is a strategic milestone in supporting the bank’s global growth and enhancing services to international stakeholders.
