Sajith Premadasa promises development and better living standards

Speaking at a major rally held at Athaullah Arangam in Akkaraipattu in support of S.M. Sameem, SJB’s candidate for the Akkaraipattu Municipal Council, Premadasa outlined his vision for local development.

“We have drawn up comprehensive programmes to ensure a comfortable life for the people in these areas by providing them with all necessary facilities,” Premadasa said. “Even during my tenure as Opposition Leader, I visited nearly every corner of this district and extended assistance without waiting for requests, simply by understanding the needs and hopes of the people.”
