Sister of JVP founder Rohana Wijeweera passes away

Born on May 6, 1948, in Kottagoda, Mrs. Wijeweera had been residing in the Tangalle area at the time of her passing. She was 76 years old.

Her remains are currently lying at No. 208, Muthumala Mawatha, Pallikkudawa, Tangalle, where family, friends, and well-wishers are gathering to pay their respects.

The funeral is scheduled to take place on the afternoon of April 28, with the participation of close family members and leaders of the JVP.
