The official website of the Government Printing Department, which was disrupted by a cyber attack, has been restored, authorities confirmed.
In addition, the Computer Crime Investigation Division is investigating a cyber attack on the Sri Lanka Police’s official YouTube channel and other social media accounts.
Senior Information Engineer Charuka Damunupola from the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (SLCERT) stated that investigations are underway to identify those responsible for these attacks.
He also noted that efforts are being made to restore the Police YouTube channel, which was affected by the incident.
