By 12 PM, the National People's Power (NPP) has secured a commanding lead in Sri Lanka's general election, winning 141 seats with 6,863,186 votes, which accounts for 61.56% of the total vote. The NPP has officially surpassed the majority threshold in Parliament.

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has secured 1,968,716 votes (17.66%), winning 35 seats.

The New Democratic Front (NDF) received 4.49% of the vote, or 500,835 votes, and has won 3 seats.

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) garnered 350,429 votes (3.15%), securing 2 seats.

Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kadchi (ITAK) achieved 2.31% of the vote, amounting to 257,813 votes, and has won 7 seats.

Sarvajana Balaya (SB) received 178,006 votes (1.60%), but did not win any seats.

Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) gained 87,038 votes (0.78%) and secured 2 seats.

Other parties and candidates have earned 8.45% of the vote, totaling 941,983 votes, and won 6 seats.

While the results indicate a strong victory for the NPP, all election results are released, and the official confirmation of the All-Island Election Result is still pending.
