The National People's Power (NPP) has successfully secured a majority in Sri Lanka's general election, garnering 61.73% of the vote, which amounts to 6,842,223 votes. The NPP has won 123 seats, surpassing the majority threshold in Parliament.

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) received 1,966,875 votes, or 17.74%, securing 31 seats.

The New Democratic Front (NDF) achieved 4.45% of the vote, amounting to 493,359 votes, and has secured 3 seats.

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) received 350,287 votes (3.16%) and has secured 2 seats.

Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kadchi (ITAK) earned 252,548 votes, or 2.28%, winning 6 seats

Sarvajana Balaya (SB) has 177,954 votes, representing 1.61%, but has not secured any seats.

The United Democratic Voice (UDV) gained 83,488 votes, or 0.75%, and has not won any seats.

Additionally, other parties and candidates have garnered 8.28% of the vote, with a total of 917,989 votes, securing 6 seats.

The NPP's strong performance has positioned it as the dominant force in the new Parliament.
