The Election Commission has introduced a measure for the upcoming Parliamentary Election on November 14, 2024, to enhance voting transparency. Voters will have their left index finger marked with a visible sign to prevent double voting, the Commission stated.
This measure follows recent concerns about possible confusion with the polling process in the Presidential Election, which took place recently. The Election Commission also clarified that if a voter’s left index finger is not available, the mark will be applied to another finger. This action aims to ensure a clear and fair voting process.
