The Department of Motor Traffic (DM)) has announced that its Narahenpita Head Office will remain closed on Wednesday November 13 and Thursday November 14 due to its use as an election centre during the upcoming General Elections.

DDepartment of Motor traffic  Commissioner General, Nishantha Anuruddha Weerasinghe, confirmed that the closure is a precautionary measure as the office will be repurposed for election-related activities on these dates. 

He urged the public to plan accordingly for any services they may need from the DMT before or after these two days.

The DMT further advised individuals with appointments or pending tasks to reschedule or complete them outside of the closure period to avoid any inconvenience.
