In a recent announcement, the price of a kilo of mung beans has dropped by 51 rupees, now available at 799 rupees, down from 850 rupees. Additionally, the price of white cowpeas has seen a reduction of 20 rupees, with the new price set at 880 rupees per kilo.
Moreover, consumers can now purchase a kilo of white sugar for 243 rupees, a decrease of 5 rupees from the previous price of 248 rupees.
Lanka Sathosa also stated that a kilo of big onions is now priced at 300 rupees, available at all outlets.
