Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya held a courtesy meeting today (2 November) with Ms. Kristin B. Parco, Chief of Mission for the International Organization for Migration (IOM), at the Prime Minister's Office.
The discussion focused on strengthening cybersecurity to prevent cyber fraud and addressing the rescue of Sri Lankan nationals trafficked to Myanmar, as stated by the Prime Minister’s Office.
Also present at the meeting were Ms. Madhavie N. Gunawardena, National Research and Partnership Officer, Ms. Minoli P. Don, Head of the Protection Unit, Ms. Dayani Mendis, Director General of United Nations and Human Rights from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Pradeep Saputhanthri, Secretary to the Prime Minister.
