The price of eggs on the local market has decreased compared to last week, according to reports. The All Ceylon Egg Traders' Association stated that the price of a brown egg is now at Rs. 36, while a white egg is priced at Rs. 35.
The recent drop provides a slight relief to consumers, as egg prices have been steadily high in recent months.
