Train services from Colombo Fort to Kankasanturai are set to resume tomorrow (October 28), following months of suspension due to maintenance and upgrades, the Department of Railways announced.
This progress comes after the completion of modernization efforts on the railway line between Mahawa and Anuradhapura, improving connectivity and convenience for passengers heading to northern regions of the country.
In light of the resumed operations, the Railway Department urges public caution at railway crossings, emphasizing safety adherence as trains return to the Northern Railway.
